Online public schools: they are being developed

Hey there folks! How are you doing today? I've read, to some extent, a long article about online public schools. Have you ever thought about this possibility? You'd rather believe it, - once these kinds of public schools are being developed in the United States.
Agora is, for instance, an online public school managed by a company called K12, in the U.S. which its main objective is to "improve students' knowledge", - the children remain at their own homes doing their schoolwork combined with the Internet.
Is it efficient at all? The teacher communicates with their students through a virtual simulated class, and the burden teachers carry on is minimum compared to real classes. The prices virtual teachers are paid are also lower than those from traditional schools.
And although this online public school is for free and the money raised with this type of learning comes from the state, K12 is the one which is subsiding this online public school, Agora, among many others. It means that this company may have "second thoughts" about it, its plans goes beyond "helping children". What is, after all, K12 doing with all the money generated in online public schools?
Moreover, there is another question mark that me and many people could not let aside: What about the social life of these children, once they spend their whole day inside their homes having online classes? This is something crucial to their development as human beings. Interaction, social skills are extremely relevant for children and people, in general. Without it, I assume there would not be any person on earth happy.
Children need to talk to other kids, because most of the knowledge achieved come from conversations between them and the environment that surrounder pupils: the real school.
This article helped me to understand lots of things I didn't know.
Thank you people for the time spent on this session.
Xoxo,
Jú Taouil at readytorolling.
